In a 'nutshell'...
Hey there! I'm Adam, an IT enthusiast living in the UK! I'm absolutely passionate about all things IT, especially servers, scripting, automation, and cloud technology. I'm constantly working on improving my knowledge through self-study using my HomeLab. When I'm not geeking out over IT you can find me indulging in my other hobbies like gaming, photography, gardening, and traveling. Nature is my go-to therapy after a long day of work!

2021 - Present
IT Infrastructure Engineer
I finally made it onto my dream role as an IT Infrastructure Engineer. Within the Team I am on, I look after the server-side of things!

A small summary of what I do is Provision, Maintain and Troubleshoot Server and Software. I am the lead on projects allocated to me and it is my job to ensure project requirements are met from an Infrastructure perspective.
Currently, I work as part of a 2nd Line IT Support Team. This is for the same large corporation I worked part of when I was just an IT Support Analyst.
Part of my role includes providing IT Support to the business staff remotely, onsite be it in office or remote offices, and liaising with 3rd Parties/internal teams.

As an IT Apprentice, I worked with a small 1 person owned MSP providing remote and onsite support to our customers.
Anything IT-related we provided support for. This ranged from VOIP, Server Setup, WIFI Setup, Internet Setup, Printer Setup, and Structured Cabling.

I worked as part of an IT Support Analyst Team for a large corporation providing IT Support for the business users within their distribution center.

We ensured that the warehouse from an IT perspective continued running 24/7.

Skills
Over my 6 Years of my IT Career I have become proficient in many areas and picked up many new skills. In my spare time, I work on developing skills my further to give me an edge in my career.
Through the use of my custom home lab, I have been able to have hands-on experience with various software such as different Operating Systems, Applications. I have also been able to have hands-on hardware too. ​
